More Spanglish in Action

It seems more TV advertisers are trying to include a little bit of Spanglish into their slogans and copy, just this week I’ve seen two: Dr. Pepper and Eclipse.

Not that this is anything new, pero sí llama la atención que se vea más seguido.

Eclipse has long had a great ads, you have to love their tag line “sensación limpia no matter what!”

The new spot by Dr. Pepper for their Vida23 campaign is amazing! Cool graphics and music.. and the jingle is in Spanglish. “Dame un Dr. Pepper… you can be mi amigo… and we can share!”

Te digo… Spanglish is everywhere! Still, you have to admit these are brave brands for playing with language.
